Board of Directors
The LCA Board comprises nine elected officers and directors who collectively provide a voice for the community in matters of neighbourhood concern. Our directors are also individually responsible for an organizational role or being the lead on a key issue. Their efforts are bolstered by board-appointed liaisons, each with their own mandate.  

Partnerships
The LCA works with the Lowertown East Residence Committee, Lowertown Our Home, the Resource Centre and other groups active in the community.

We also partner with neighbouring community associations, including Lowertown East Residents Committee, Action Sandy Hill and Vanier Community Association, on issues of common interest. Our successful campaign to have a bike path installed on St. Patrick Street during its resurfacing last year is proof that there is indeed strength in numbers.

Lastly, the LCA is a member of the Federation of Citizens’ Associations of Ottawa.
